Opened a Brand New Treo 750 (seals never broken on box) and the battery seemed to have a full charge.

    If this normal?

Usually, batteries are 75% charged for new phones.

If your phone was a Cingular, they charge as a courtesy.
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

Have you tried the 8525. What an awesome device. I do much prefer the Treo 750, though. The Palm enhancements to Windows Mobile 5 are just fantastic and SO useful.

I'm using the 8125 to see if I can deal with the slide out keyboard. So far, it's good for texting. I just use the stylus for other stuff.

No, not since they started playing tricks with customer accounts, both home and cellular. You have to remember that around here, they own everything unless you want to risk an "off" company and even then they still own the phone lines.

Phone Diva, I TOTALY AGREE. SBC/AT&T phone service, ADSL are horible and they are, for sure, the worst company I have ever had the pleasure of canceling. I am now using VOIP (Interlync.com & Vonage) for phone - LOVE IT. My dislike for SBC/AT&T does not completely transcend to my cell service, but when I heard the merger once again... I felt a tad bit ill.

And AT&T outsources certain customer service depts. I HATE that. Can't understand a word. I hope that Cingular won't outsource. I think Sprint is doing that as well.

The Cingular people I have spoken to have all been in Canada. It was Newfoundland but still pretty easy to understand. Sprint's CS seems to all be in the US now.

My DSL goes out randomly about 4 times a week, then comes back on. Should I have used one of their upgraded DSL plans? Or is it all the same?

Yea, Canada, that's true. Mostly I end up at call centers in the U.S., though. When I said outsource, I meant India, etc., where you can't even understand the person. Microsoft, AOL, and I thought Sprint all do it for certain departments.
