    Spb finally contacted me today. They said via email the only thing I could do would be a hard reset. Is there any other option?

    If all you're looking to do is "try it" then why not simply do a back up, hard reset, install it and try it out for a day or two? If you don't like it simply restore. If you do like it pay for it and then restore and reinstall it.
