I've had this phone since the day it was released and it's the first time this has happened. It happened twice today, about 5 minutes apart. A voice out of my phone says "your battery is low". It's not the pop-up notification on the phone. It was a real voice.

My battery was at about 25% when this happened. It's not the first time my battery was low. I go to 10% or under every day. It's the first time a voice told me I was low on battery.

Is this a setting that I accidentally turned on? If so, I'd rather turn it off.

BTW, my husband heard it too, so it wasn't my imagination.

It's Voice Command. You can disable it in settings.

Yes, if you have voice command on it will say low battery at 20%.

Sweet .. how did I miss that?! My fault for not reading the documentation properly. I guess the lack of documentation on what sort of command to use was the reason it didn't hit in the first place. I remember someone came up with a PDF copy of all the commands that you can activate with this. I need to dig that back.

    Thanks Hannip.

    Phone:

call john smith, mobile - Calls John Smiths mobile number, asks for confirmation first to which you can respond "yes" or "no".

dial 12345678 - Dials the number ("yes"/"no") (Good luck getting it to understand all the numbers)

redial - Redial last called number ("yes"/"no")

callback - Call the last person that called you.("yes"/"no")

    Contacts:

show john smith - Show the contact details for john smith

    Media (Windows Media Player):

    play media
You will then be asked: album/artist/genre/anything?
    pause
    stop
play (followed by name of an album/artist/genre or "anything" to get a list of options)
    what track is this
    next
    previous
    shuffle on
    shuffle off

    Calendar:

    what are my appointments
what are my appointments for tomorrow
    what's my next appointment
    reminders on
    reminders off

    Start menu

start - followed by the name of any valid application on the phone, e.g. "start messaging" or "start coreplayer"

    Status:

    what time is it
    what date is it
    what is my battery level
    what is my signal strength
    what calls have i missed
    flight mode on
    flight mode off
ringer - followed by vibrate, high, low, medium or off

This may well be obvious, but I had issues with it so others might as well.
