I have this file in my Treo 700wx under my device....it gives me an error trying to open it and I cannot delete it. If you try and delete it I get the following message:

"Cannot delete file 'brpdrv.txt'. The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.

    Any thoughts? Thanks,

    Dimitri

I'm not sure what creates that file, but why are you trying to delete it? If you delete it it will just come back. It's so small that it won't affect your available storage.

Edit: I found the driver. It's the BaseBandRadioPower.dll which is a builtin driver. I turned the radio off (press and hold red End button) then used DotFred's TaskMgr to unload the driver. I then could delete the file. Then I reloaded the driver using DotFred's TaskMgr and powered the radio back up. Sure enough the file returned. However it is smaller than it was.

Info on DotFred's TaskMgr can be found here.

Well I was wondering what it was and why it's there? I don't think it was there when I first had my Treo and now it won't go away. I had hard reset my device about a month ago to clean it up and that file was there again. Just curious about it is all.
