hmm when you turn off keylight the keys light up, screen blink is very presnt to the eye like pushing the power button.
Would a command like -on shutdown leave screen on-
    leaving screen present state.

Thanks so much! This is simple to use and it's really a great enhancement to my 700Wx.

Ok, I went a little crazy with this one. It's a first pass at making a script that gives one hand functionality to a few apps such as AIM and TCPMP and includes the folder switch in poutlook mail. It also includes a default menu with options to start voice command, run keylight and run the WM5 task manager. I've assigned it to my Option-Ok button and shortened the key delay to half a second which makes it much more usable.

In the first version of this script most of the focus went into making AIM one handed. It still needs some work. For example it currently can't switch IM windows when you have multiple conversations going without a screen tap. I have an idea how to do it, but wanted to get this out since it should be useful as is. Note that the script is coded to the hacked AIM UK app. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Please provide suggestions.

This script has only been tested on 240x240 screens. MouseClick coordinates would need to be made to support other screen resolutions. If you make changes for different screens let me know so I can implement the changes.

    Code:
    # OneHand.mscr - Adds one hand functionality to some apps that need it.
    #
    # Notes:
    # - MortScript v4 (or higher) must be installed to run this script.
    # - This script must be assigned to a button (physical key on device) to be useful.
    # - Default actions assume Voice Command is installed with a shortcut in \Windows
    # - Default actions assume PocketMax.com's keylight app is installed.
    # - The AIM functions only work with the modified AIM UK found at xda-developers forum.
    # - Testing has only been done on 240x240 screens.

Remember you need to install MortScript for any of these scripts to work. Installation of MortScript creates a folder \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MortScript. I put all of my scripts in that folder. You will need to assign OneHand to a button for this script to be useful.

Info on the hacked AIM UK can be found here.

Question: Everything was working fine. Then, because of a misbehaving app, I needed to do a real hard reset and reinstall my apps.
Reinstalled MS and folderswitch script, but it isn't working.
When I execute MS, I get the following error window: ".mscr and .mortrun extensions are registered. Please run any .mscr/.mortrun file or read the manual."
I read the manual but still don't understand.
  8.    #48
Sounds like you are running MortScript itself. You just need to run the scripts or assign the scripts to buttons to run.

Thanks hannip. Silly mistake on my part. Works fine again!

Hannip have you taken a look at a Keylight/Mortscript code for Not having the screen power up when turning software off.Having (keylight 1.01 beta) power cycle the treo on when units already on cant be good I wouldnt think.

I looked at the doc and there really isn't a way to turn off the display with the build in functions. You can turn the backlight down. It is device dependant how it works so some fiddling will have to be done to figure it out. You are welcome to try.

I think malatesta did the beta testing for release so that would make it perfect with no need to tweak. So the topic of bettering keylight will no longer be brought up on my behalf

ok I hate to bring you code jockeys down to the level of mere mortals, but here we go.

I had installed FolderSwitch a few weeks ago and was running it fine, but I had to hard reset over the weekend, and now I can't remember the exact process I had used to install Mort and Folder Switch. I know I need to copy the .mscr file and the .cab files over to my device someplace (which folder?) and then run the .cab file, but what I'm doing now isn't resulting in the same thing I had last time.

For example, even though I have the Folder Switch app on my device, now it doesn't show in my Programs Folder, nor can I assign it to a button (it doesn't show up in the drop down of apps to assign).

So could I get that three step install process again? I looked at the .pdf of the Mort Script documentation, but it wasn't clear to me, for some reason.

All I need is the basics. Thanks folks.

I think he just wants the FolderSwitch script to work. Not the LEDup stuff.

    1) Install the MortScript cab. It will create a folder \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MortScript.
    2) Copy FolderSwitch.mscr to the above folder.
    3) Assign a button to FolderSwitch using the Button control panel app in Start-Setting.

With the LED stuff you're playing with, is the only option the slow blinking green like PhoneAlarm can do or is there a way to have a fast green, or solid Orange?
