I was wondering: those of you who are using Map4PDA are probably aware that you can cache data you download say, on your SD card. But does anyone know if there is "pre-cached" map data available anywhere? For instance, let's say I am driving around a part of the state where my wireless service is less than stellar (read: anywhere, ha ha). I can't find my way around because my map isn't downloading new data for me, so I'm a blip on a white field.

So is there any possible way to say, download and cache on your SD card, an entire state? I suppose anyone could trade cached data with anyone else, as it would likely read those files the same way, although, that would be really easy.

I know, the solution is to buy a program that has map data built in. That's a final objective, but in the meantime, anyone have any good ideas about this?
