What timing! I just got my 750v today and this is great news indeed! Treo lovers, I am back after missing my 650 for so many months now.

Will it extend the back like the new wx battery?

Is it the standard size or is there a new back like the 3200?

I will be interested if it is the same size as original battery. I owned one for Treo 650, it's great!

If it requires a new battery cover, I won't be buying it. If it simply replaces the original battery, I would be interested.

    Size and price.
Those two question need to be answered.
I almost bought extra battery for treo680 (thank god).
If 750v battery is same as treo680 (which I think it is) and size is same as original treo 750v/680 battery from palm; you should have plenty of them because there are lot of fingers itching to click on "buy NOW" button.
Technological superiority has never won a product battle. If that were the case we would all be flying in supersonic Concordes and using Apple computers.

The key to winning the battle is a combination of price, convenience, marketing, sound business model and a bit of luck.

    Yep, same here.

If it makes the device thicker, I would be throwing away my $75 investment in my Vaja i-Volution case ...

But, if 2400mAh is not feasible in a size identical to the original 1200mAh battery, I would already be very happy with a 1800 to 2000mAh battery that is the original size ....

Anything that adds to the original dimensions of the device is a no-go for me.

Me too, but I think they are just releasing a new cover for their existing 2400mah batteries, just to fit on Treo 750v. Not the solution for me.

Yup, I'd like to have something the same size as the OEM one.

an oem size 1800mah would have been a popular alternative. i can't see anyone who would want to increase the "slimmed down" size of the unit (or have an ugly hump) or the weight.

would an 1800mah require a different cover?

are 1800mah currently available for the devices (750/680)? thanks!

why not answer the questions directly seidio? I've seen so many posts where relevant questions are ignored esp the battery size...what gives??
