Hi guys. Every time I go into Media Player on my 700wx it seems to have reverted to looking on "my device" for media files in the library. However, all of my files are on my SD card. Is there any way to force it to always look in the storage card via a registry hack etc? Thanks.

Maybe with a registry edit, although I don't know of it off the top of my head...

I'd be curious to know though, although I rarely use WMP, but TCPMP instead.

PS- that wasn't SUPPOSED to rhyme, purely by accident.

Anybody have any idea of a registry edit?

If you delete the index file stored in main memory it will default to using the storage card... until you update your media again with a search.

The file to delete is under \Applications data\Microsoft\Media Player and is called XMEMediaLibrary
