MagiCall 1.1: Dual-way Call Filtering (plus SMS)

(Note: The developer is about to release 1.2 which has some newer/updated features, so you may want to wait for that. Should be up in the next day.)

Finally, for those looking for a call filtering software (that also filters SMS), this is for you.

    - Very lite program, don't even notice it is running. No slowdowns.
    - SMS filtering even works with Palm Threaded text
    - Will not interfere with Verichat (SMS)
    - Highly configurable yet very intuitive
    - It just plain works, which is rare for these programs!
    - Scheduler built in: Filter rules can be on a specific time-frame

    - $24.95 but worth it if you need it

Also been beta testing this also and definitely recommend it. I have asked the developer to consider tying MagiCall to the calendar so we can have the option of when you have an appt that is marked as Busy, MagiCall will block your calls/sms.

neat idea! many would be interested in that function.

I asked him to included a "reverse phone number lookup" via the call log (e.g. someone was blocked b/c they were not in contacts. but who were they then?)

He said he'd put in the next version (not the 1.2 about to be released but I'd imagine 1.3).

Ooh..a reverse lookup feature would definitely be a good addition.

Can't wait to see what he has in the next version.

anyone know how to resolve the problem with it not blocking the call before the first ring. seems to be a problem with cdma networks. something about cycle slot index. I remember i changed mine way back, but it seems to still throw in a first ring before blocking the call.
