when I had my 650, I had an app (from ToySoft I believe) that supported mp3 ringtones, and allowed me to ignore calls from certain numbers or send them directly to voice mail. Is there anything comparable for the 700w ?

MagiCall 1.1 is working wonders for me.

The developer is about to release a new one and add more features.

Magicall 1.2 has a few more very good features that work like a charm. i.e. I can filter calls by outlook category(private). Very useful feature for all you players out there with WM5 devices. I will never remove this app.

No doubt. Most stable call filtering app I've ever used. It just plain works and the developer is really good. One of my tops fav apps.

    I disagree.

I never got it to work, it's not updated enough and honestly, MagiCall destroys it as far as customizations, options and possibilities. It has a scheduler for individual rules which is amazing.

    Hey Mal,

I tried out MagiCall and I must say it's pretty nice, however I really feel that AutoSMSReply is a better product. I've been beta testing the new WM5 version that should be released this month. The feature I like best about it is that I can use {First Name} in my replies instead of just {name} like in MagiCall.

With MagicCall, it enters the company name as well as the full name of the person. Do you know of anyway to only use the {First Name}??

    UPDATE
I sent an email to the developer, Song, who said he would update his app to this feature and release it sometime this week. Awesome!

Does magicall handle ringtones as well as part of the rules like Callfilter on PalmOS did?
Contact/Category/Not in Contacts/Caller ID Blocked etc..
    Palm III > HS Visor > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 750 > Treo Pro > PrePlus GSM

I don't see anything in its description saying I will be able to set mp3's as ringtones for individual callers. Is it a hidden feature? ;-)
