Please respond if anyone has any idea if this is going to happen. I have been waiting to get the Treo 700wx at the best possible price. I heard this deal was going to happen in one of the other sections of the forum but nobody seems to confirm it.

Is Sprint selling the Treo 700wx for $299 on Black Friday?

WOW, Sprint stores outta be slammed with people. Cingular is going to be the same way tomorrow with the "buy 1 get 1 free" sale. Interesting enough, the Cingular Rep said more people are interested in the BlackBerry Pearl over any other phone right now which help me when I go to pich up the 680....LOL.
    Thank You,

so the treo 700wx is not going to be on sale? the regular price for the 700p is not $649 here, it's much cheaper than the 700wx.

700wx is already on sale online for $299 with instant savings and mail-in rebate for new line of service, same as the 700p.

http://www.sprint.com/business/produ...csPhones.htmle. (I'm not sure if the link works. If not just go to sprint.com then business. You will find it there)

    Everyone enjoy the holiday.

$299 with a new line of service and you order it online/telesales. I would just go to eBay and buy one for 99 cents with a $60 plan (from 'itemzbay') - then at the end of 30 days, you can change the plan or roll it into a shared plan. That's how I bought my 650 and this is how I'll probably by my next one when my son needs a line next year. So, the cheapest way to get a 700 is to open a new line of service - buying one outright w/o a contract is typically around $400 on eBay.

CompUSA has the 700Wx for $299.99 with NEW 2yr contract on a new line of service with a rate plan of $39.99 or higher.
Regular full retail price at CompUSA is $499.99, (700p is $599 full, $299.99, new 2 year contract with same stipulations).
