I'm wondering if anybody can provide a suggestion.

How do you install language fonts onto a windows mobile 5 device, so that non-'english' text shows up rather than as ??

I'm having no joy searching the net for this. Any wise souls on Treocentral have an idea?

    edit...
Sorry, that 1st question mark was supposed to be the square block symbol.

i had fun working this out. Basically you need to go to your windows directory and substitute Tahoma and Tahomabold for the fonts you want.

    Hey

I tried that, it didn't work. Webpages still show the block character (even with the default character set set to unicode UTF-8). Blocks also show up in Notes etc.

However, I can start Pocket word and select the font. So it partly works. I think it's just because you can't change the default font in the key programs maybe?

Yup. Renamed the new font to tahoma, copied file to the windows directory and then reset the device!
