The older version (1.3 IIRC) has no splash screen, but the newer version (1.4 +) does.

I have the older one set to a hard button, so it can be run any time I get clunky responses on the 700W.

What kind of problems? I have both installed and haven't noticed anything. I have Oxios run automatically when PhoneAlarm wakes up my phone in the morning.

I would. Magic Button will shut down your programs when you are done with them instead of leaving them running. It also gives you an easy way to soft reset. Oxios will reclaim memory. These are 2 seperate things.

If you want all those, plus extra I think you should use 'GSPocketMagic'
