    I have tried changing to the OpenDNS DNS servers, and have had slower resolution times.

    Me too for the most part. I switched back...

    I use the OpenDNS with great success. I also disable the Cingular proxy with a an easy .cab file installation called "disable proxy". I can re-enable it with a .cab file called "enable proxy". I can't remember where I got these cabs. It was either here or www.howardforums.com

    It's just a reg edit as documented at the site.

    The proxy can make things faster in some cases, and slower in others. It's worth experimenting.

    There's also http://www.skweezer.net/ It's just as good and better in some cases.
    I have personally found that Opera Mini (which does it's own page squeezing) makes the best every day browser for quick web surfing.
