Vijay of http://www.vijay555.com/ is looking for someone:

    - who's fairly comfortable with Visual Studio 2005 (or EVC)

    - has a treo

He thinks he may be able to "hide" the Carrier logo/BT line on the today screen while retaining it's functions, but he doesn't have a treo to test himself.

If you meet the above requirements, drop over here and volunteer!

I hope he figures it out. What a waste of the little screen area we get!

Wish I knew how to use VS 2005 or EVC. This will be great if it can be figured out.

Hope this does get removed. Such a waste of real estate on an already small screen.

What do you mean "it checks every 10 seconds"?

Added a new version that checks every 2.5 seconds.

one problem we had was that everytime you used the plugin it would resurface. and the only way to get around it was to make the application a background process so it checks every x seconds. it doesn't do anything if its already hidden but if it isnt it hides it again if its reappeared.

One question. If you wanted to remove it how would you go about doing so?

Just for further clarification I have a few questions...

    1. This is a today screen plugin? You enable/disable it from the items section of the today screen settings?

    2. It simply hides the bar which contains the carrier logo and bluetooth icon?

    3. As someone else mentioned, how is it removed if the user wants to do so?

    4. I'm still not clear as to what the time interval has to due with anything? Does this mean the amount of time it checks to see if the logo bar has returned? And if it has it auto-hides it again?

    Thanks for your hard work!
