where do I find the settings for IE to switch from html and back? also, where do I set the IE to return to the page I was viewing when I switch to another app? thanks for helping a WM newbie!

What do you want to switch to from HTML? And if you hit "ok" to use another application, the page should remain loaded in IE. I always go back to the page I was on when leaving another application, unless I quit IE completely (I use Spb Pocket Plus for this).

Is there anyway to open/view multiple IE browers on treo at the same time? (i.e. just like regular desktop pc)

Yes, there are a few browsers that will let you do that, but I like PIEPlus since it integrates nicely with PIE. It supports tabbed browsing, real fullscreen browsing (no scollbars) and stylus panning among many other cool features.

Is there a freeware plug-in/app that would support PIE?

Pocket Plus does most of that too, I'm pretty sure... I've been happy with it for a number of years.
