Ok I did all that and this is the message I get: "Extraction Error- File storage space is full or read only." I know i have storage space. I cant seem to overite the pimdlg.dll

What am I doing wrong? Also...no inbox today plugin and o disabled messaging today plugin just in case. Thanks.
    Steps you should take.
    1) download pimgdll.zip to your pc and extract it to pimgdll.dll (not sure where you got pimdlg.dll from).
    2) connect device to pc via activesync. click Explore and drag pimgdll.dll to a folder on your device such as My Documents. (you can disconnect from pc at this point)
    3) Use Resco Explorer to copy pimgdll.dll to \Windows. Soft reset.

I don't like checking my voicemail...afraid it might be my wife, or worse...my girlfriend.

No problem...I just wanted to make sure this wasn't just happening for me.

And FYI, I just received my first "Out Of Memory" message. Why does this happen?

Thanks again for a great app and if you would like to PM me your e-mail address hannip, I would love to make a PayPal donation.

iramike, are you saying that you are using the Palm Messaging app to send pics via mms? If so what device are you using?

Hannip what do you recommend for me? I installed beta4, I removed beta 3, reset, but get a webview.dll message upon startup and it freezes. I have no other option but to hard reset. I mean beta 3 is working flawlessly for me, so I'm in no rush. Thanks for updating this!!

lol, It's all clear now. Just be careful and don't get confused between your wife and your girlfriend when you answer your phone!

No need for donations. I'm just giving back what I took from TC when I needed help.

I have no idea why that's happening. btw, is this a 700wx, 700w or other device? Maybe we can find a pattern. In the meantime I would suggest doing the manual install of pimgdll.dll over the beta3 install.

Yeag there is a big problem with MMS- it doesn't work yet!

Nothing will be stricken from the face of the Earth, except maybe YOU- enabling me to steal your phone! Do you have Sprint?

This was my order of operations-

    Soft reset
    Start-settings-system-remove programs- Palm messaging
Device tells me I need to reset. I oblige, and device does not start up. I get the Wndows Mobile splash screen and a rectangular box under the Windows Mobile lofo. The box is transparent, I only see an outline.

    What device?

700wx, beta 3 installed. I also had the sms softkey hack, I manually created the INBOX (outlook) shorcut in programs/start menu, and had the today.reg added also.

    What's in your \Windows\startup folder?
  12. #1232
LittlePat and I are having the same exact problem. I have a 700wx and went back to beta 3 because I had the same results LittlePat did. In my startup folder I have:
    poutlook
    services
    voice command

Yeah, we need to find the common pattern between you two.

What is in your \Windows\startup folder?

Its too late to say now because I performed a hard reset before installing beta4.

    Currently:
    poutlook
    photocontacts
    pdanet
    Services

I am also running the softkey hack. I can't even get into my Treo after removing beta 3, I get the webview.dll message as the WM splash screen appears, it freezes, the only out is to hard reset. Thank God for backup software

hmm, I deleted the poutlook shortcut from my startup a while ago. Maybe the newer webview.dll is incompatible with the older poutlook. I also don't have Services in my startup which both of you have.
  17. #1237
Services has the exact same logo as the Windows XP "services" in the control panel. In MemMaid I have a list of services that start within this file. Not sure why you wouldn't have this. poutlook is a default file in startup, I did not place it there. I always left it there because I assumed it was calendar-reminder related

Okay, everything was working great and now I am getting the "Out Of Memory" error every other text message or so.

    What gives?

I've been using the beta 3 for a few days now and everything works fine for me except one thing.

I use phoneAlarm and once a day or so phoneAlarm says I have 1 unread SMS. I check my SMS messages and all are read. I can't seem to figure out how to clear it. Sometimes, I clicked on every single chat (18 of them) and that worked, other times it didn't. I also sometimes check my sent box, outbox, etc and then it clears but sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure how to clear/reset that.

I tried that app on here a few pages back to clear the counter. It ran on my 700w and I saw a bunch of stuff scroll. I soft reset and it still did not clear it. I don't know what to do.

I was just using the MMS that is in the Messaging app. I think though that it was the Outlook or the exsisting app that was there from the start. I might have been a little confuzzled as to which part was not able to send and which part was able to send.

    I am using a 700w on VZW
    My Cart
    Wireless Addict
