    in my car...

Some pics of my newly installed, powered ProClip car mount for the Treo 700. Also used a PanaVise adjustable pedestal mount (my car model is too new for custom mounting brackets).

My opinion? Easy to slide in and out. Doesn't rattle like the Seidio mount did with my 6700. If you're a daily driver, get used to staying above 50% on your battery (unless, of course, your commute is real short)...

    Drivers perspective:

Ouch! Depending on how thin that skin is, it may still fit...

I made a similar mount out of fiberglass and and old lamp i had, came out pretty nice. I had to stop using it when i bought a case for the 650. Also I recently upgraded to the WX. But i dont need the mount anymore cause my new cd player has an SD card slot, so i can just put my phones card in there. You can see i had a cable going from my headphone jack to the back of the radio, but dont need it anymore so i dont need the mount.

Those flat head screws don't chafe the WX? Beyond that it looks choice.

No, they're recessed - the angle of the pic doesn't show that well.
