I wonder why didn't they put google maps on WM5 as well?

yeah but i see what the OP means. the new Palm version is "java free" which is what makes it better than before.

    it'd be real nice to have a WM5, non-Java, non-CF version.

maybe it's their hatred of MS, but Google drags their feet on WM5 device support.

Likewise, 4info recently released a PalmOS application as well. I emailed them about WM5 support and no response.

I have information it will be, I submit as evidence - article 1 -

the google.com/gmm supported devices listing html:
<table border="0" bgcolor="#adc9f2" cellspacing="1"><tr><td bgcolor="#eaf3ff"><table><tr><td colspan="8" valign="bottom"><b>Palm</b></td></tr><tr><td width=125><font size=-1></font></td><td width=125><font size=-1>Treo 600</font></td><td width=125><font size=-1>Treo 650</font></td><td width=125><font size=-1>Treo 700p</font></td><td width=125><font size=-1></font></td><td width=125><font size=-1></font></td></tr></table></td></tr></table>
(also seen here in jpg format)

a blank cell BEFORE the first listing!!!! AHAAA!!!! Clearly not wanting to steal the poor POS user's thunder they removed the "700wx" listing before posting it live!

    MUHAHAHAHAHA!

Or maybe they left room for the 680 that was just announced?

styletap cost money. that's not a good solution to use free google maps.

and the blank is either for the 680 or is a mistake.
