    Read this:

    http://msmobiles.com/news.php/5599.html

It talks about a 3-month exclusive for Vodafone worldwide. What is this? Vodafone does not operate in North America, so why would there be a conflict? I'm definitely not importing this Eurotrash with the ugliest carrier logo (Vodafone) on it. I want a Cingular-branded one.

Doing some more research, it seems to be coming to Asia this or next week as well:

Where is our Cingular version? For God's sakes, this is the United States.

Unlocked for me, no branded phones ever again! I'll be waiting longer than you! Cingular is rumored to have it by December. Unlocked will be some time next year, people suspect.
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

Since I'm in Chicago IL USA, I'm not with Vodafone.

where did you expect to buy your 750 then?

From Palm preferrably, IF they release an official unlocked version. If there will be no unlocked version, I'm tempted to forget it. I don't want the one from Cingular either, unless I can get it unlocked for sure.

THANK YOU! Exactly. I want a U.S. Cingular-branded version and not some ugly Europhone with that disgusting red Vodafone logo on it.

So the US 750v will look differently then

with that disgusting red Vodafone logo on it.
Actually on the 750v the Vodafone logo is silver

Some serious anger problems here. You think the ***** Cingular logo looks better? If you are judging the value of a phone by the logo on it you have serious problems.

    Main Phone: Treo 270/600/650/700w/700p/750v/Motorola Q/iPhone
    Tried but sold: Motorola Q/Nokia E61/700wx/HTC TyTN/Treo 680

No it won't. Judging by the leaked pictures, it will likely have the dumb Cingular logo and the default WM5 blue them but otherwise be identical.

Do you even realize most mobile phones in the US have exclusity with certain carrier?

Just sit down and think about it for a second.

I'm not angry. I just want a Cingular-branded phone with all the settings in place, etc. And that way I can take it or send it back to Cingular if there are problems. Doesn't make that sense???

I got unlocked Treo 600s and 650s in the past. I don't know what the big deal is. This time around I'm intentionally getting a Cingular version. I'd rather take the carrier discount and ask Cingular for the unlock code in 3 months. I can most likely flash it with the Palm/unlocked software anyway if I hate the Cingular version which I can't see why I would.
But I might get the unlocked if it comes out first just to get it sooner (I don't think it will.)
    Treo 750 (AT&T)

I personally have got the Vodafone version and mine came unlocked. I tried it with a Sim from another telecom company and it worked perfectly. You only have to upload other software to your Treo for full accesability.

Really? Where did you get it from? I thought they were all locked in Europe. What do you mean by uploading software, do you just mean software for other programs or something else.
