    Yea that was my problem...its way easier to talk to college girls by texting...cause then you donít here, "like im so drunk, like this song is about me...etc" you can avoid all that bs...by texting...but of course she has t-mobile...so....thatís why I got the 700p as a temporary phone until they fix this bs! I hate POS...

    Sprint should have a live updated info center for crap like this. For crap thats down, resolution on fixing the problem etc.

    Everyone should email sprint and see if they would put something like that on there website to keep their customers informed instead of in the dark!!

    me too, i text a girl ALL the time with T-mobile...

    now ive been resorting to sending her messages from the PC

    www.tmobile.com/messaging

    just put their phone # and your name and the message. since it seems like i can recieve messages from her, i just send to her from there and read her replys from my phone.

    I also tried going to this site from the treo, but it knows im from a PDA and gives me a different version of the site, and you HAVE to be a tmobile customer to log into it... =(

    My girlfriend is a tmo customer... I have been using the XXXXXXXXXX@tmomail.net and it works EVERYtime from my phone (go into the messaging program and send her a msg using that protocol). She responds to those texts and I get them back. You should give it a try. It's a pain in the *** but it works.

    I'm sure it works, but this is a MAJOR problem and I cannot believe it is only with this phone. At least this might expedite a firmware update!

    I was doing this, but she wasnt getting them for hours later and it would repeat like 15 times. First time it happened she got pissed thinking i was sending them over and over again.

    Usually this site (http://www.stevecrow.net/cdmastatus ) has open tickets on the Sprint system. I dont see any recent events regarding this issue.

    I spoke to sprint the other day and they mentioned their towers are broken. They did not provide any further or useful information other then their towers are broken. They did mention the problem only seems to be affecting Treo phones. I was successful today in texting another sprint customer without delay or duplicate messages unlike I have been in the past. Hopefully this is resolved quickly. My patience are running very thin.

    My wife has T-mobile and doesn't get my texts. I called 866-818-1944 and the lady says it "is a problem with T-mobile," even though I gave her that national problem number listed above. She gave me a ticket number.

    What a pain.

    My most recent email response (#3). I'm giving them until the end of the week & I think that I will either jump ship or demand a 700p.

    Ever since this problem has come up I have been unable to get the SiriuCE emulator to work, I wonder if they are connected???

    totally related...Sirius pulled support for Sprint until they clear up the Messaging problem.

    Sprint called me back this morning and said it is a national issue (Tmobile customers not receiving text messages from Treo7000wxs) and that they are working with PalmOne to resolve it.

    spoke with them today, they told me the problem should be fixed in 24-48 hours. Of course I got the distinct impression she was making things up.

    I am not holding my breath about the 24-48 hour timeline, but I have observed that text messaging has gotten better in the past 2 or 3 days. People are receiving my text messages most of the time now whereas a week ago they weren't receiving them at all...ever.

    Hopefully it's the beginning of the end for this problem!!!
