    i added my wx on my family shared plan for $26 a month. unlimited data 500 text messages, and plenty of minutes for phone calls. i couldn't change if i wanted to for that price.

    i'll wait it out. other than these issues that are getting fixed. this is an awesome device

    My experience has been that anytime a text message over 130 characters is SENT FROM a Treo 700wx to ANY type of SPRINT phone, you will experience "Long Message Lockup Syndrome" or "LMLS".

    First off, it's "you're", not "your".

    Secondly, what does being over at SU have to do with anything?

    Third, why am I the one who is evil? You make it sound like I am the one causing this issue. I am just trying to get resolution and move on with my life.

    You have no idea how many people at Palm and Sprint I have spoken to and tried to be reasonable with and the responses have all been the same (all with a different spin):

    "I am sorry you are experiencing this issue, but there is nothing we can do for you. You are just going to have to wait for an update. In the meantime, deal with it."

    I don't know about you, but when I spend nearly $700 on ANYTHING, "I am sorry" doesn't work for me. Just my opinion.

    I know many people who buy cheapo phones, sign up for unlimited media net for $20 then upgrade to a PDA without Cingular knowing. That's how ya do it...

    Second, I知 sorry about my grammar and spelling. I知 such an *****. I値l send this through a spell checker before posting.

    And third, I just thought that I remembered seeing you over on SU and though you had a pretty high post count, sometimes indicating that you have been there a while and may have friends there. If so, I just thought that you may have passed this by them and was wondering if you got the same 的知 not doing that to my friends" comments. Or other comments.

    No problem at all Cody. You hit the nail on the head....FRUSTRATION!!!!

    They (Sprint & Palm) just seem to have a NO sense of urgency about all of this. I wouldn't even be NEARLY as frustrated if they maybe posted a joint statement on their respective websites acknowledging/explaining/apologizing for the issue and then explaining what steps they are taking to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

    I mean, I talked to a guy today at Palm who called ME and he told me point blank he had NO CLUE about this issue (he had never heard of it) and this guy reports directly to the CEO of Palm!!! That's just great!!!!

    That is why I say we need to do anything and everything we can to make them see the urgency of this and make it priority. End of rant....I am done.

    Well I called Sprint again and they've escalated my ticket. I'm suppose to get a call back tonight or tomorrow. We'll see.

    I called Sprint, got retention and they sent me out a 700p and a return kit for the 700wx.

    the 700p is in just as much of a need for an update as the wx. it has lots of issues, just different issues. at least we have been told november. thay have no idea when they'll get theres.

    I have to laugh at that because last night when Sprint "escalated' my issue to the Advanced Tech Support Team, after he was finishing up creating the ticket, he told me the estimated time of resolution was "hours". When I asked him how MANY hours, he said all the system would tell him is "hours".

    So, as of now...the official estimated time to resolve this issue is...drum roll please........

    Yeah...heard that before too. LOL they have the upper hand and honestly no matter what a few dozen people do in cant hurt them in the long run. Thats why they lie knowing its a lie. They just dont care.
