    Bump:

    Stone``, try BatteryStatus

Note: by default and via options, you can disable the Carrier info and Processor speed. All you'll have is the % battery reading.

It's a tiny program, free and works very well. Takes up little screen space.

Thanks Malatesta, that's a pretty nice little app! I'll see if I can hack the registry a bit to get it to the position I'm looking for

Doesn't work for me...just shows up as a green bar across the top of my screen...and it's cut off too.

I put it in C:\Windows and then put a shortcut link in my Windows Startup folder...did a soft reset...nothing........

no, that's what it does! it works (I use it myself, you'll see me posting in that thread).

It doesn't cut off that's the way he designed it: 20 dashes = 5% battery increment

However, there is no "today plugin" with a % like the OP wanted (or exactly what SPB+ does).

I got you. I went back and re-read the thread. I guess it's just personal preference. I just don't like how how it looks "cut off" at the top of the screen. I am all for saving "today" space, but it just looks funny to me.....to each his own I guess!!!

Off Topic, but did you ever find a 4 digit dialing program for the 700wx malatesta?

lol, no I agree with you but I think he's going to make a full-screen version next. It's nice just b/c how tiny and simple the program is.

    I use ResInfo WR-Tools ResInfo(freeware)
    http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=923

Very simple (but the settings offer a lot of infos) and takes very little screen space (just the % remaining in my case).

I tried many... many battery apps and I prefer that one.

I understand you I just liked the program for its simplicity and subtleness.
