    I just got my 700wx and I'm finding accessing that my notes (over 200 of them) is very slow, whereas on my Palm using Agendus, it's fast. I even tried Agenda Fusion 8 (faster) and Pocket Informant 2007 (similarly slow as the built in). I also made sure my memory is clean. Any suggestions?

    I have about 200 notes as well and I noticed that I get the wait cursor when pulling notes up and even when I try to _exit_ the notes app. Any WM5 experts who can confirm or explain this?

    I think the notes app is just a memory hog. For example just creating a single note with the word "test" makes a 416B file in the My Documents folder in the main memory. I can't imagine what 200 notes would occupy!

    Just this morning I first noted that notes in WM5 is a little sluggish, even on my hw6915. And I only have about 80 of them...
    Palm Vx (a classic) -> Palm m505 (*yawn*) -> Dell Axim (slooow...!) -> Palm TE (great) -> Qtek 9090 (great idea, lousy platform) -> Nokia 6630 (a toy) -> iMate SP3i (not bad) -> Nokia 9300 (can't sync notes!!) -> Treo 650 (awesome!) -> iPaq hw6915 (almost perfect) -> Nokia E51 (un/impressive) -> HTC Touch Enhanced (nice!) -> Samsung i780 (mousepad woes) -> HTC s740 (very good) -> Nokia E72 (RAM starved) -> HTC HD mini (...) -> Palm Pre 2

    Orneta Notepad Mobile, though not free, is a nice replacement.
