    Unable to sync with desktop.

    Getting this message when try to sync with my treo700wx my mic outlook, calendar, contact, etc.
    I get this message:
    ActiveSync encountered a problem on the desktop.
    Support code: 85010014.
    Any ideas of what to do?

    Still unable to sync. Same error.
    Sprint support not able to help.
    Any ideas?

    IIRC its about being logged into the outlook server correctly. You have to maybe open outlook and login before cradling and syncing. Also it could be your options in AS - make sure you're trying to sync e-mail via the server, not with the desktop computer.

    This is Kevin from Palm. The issue is beyond my expertise, but there is a Palm Knowledge Library Article that may be of help: 'Support Code: 85010014' when trying to sync a Windows Mobile device. Be sure to read the Caution at the top of the article. If you are in a work environment you might want to consult with your IT department, as well.
