SMS messages are in a threaded format like an IM client. This means you can follow conversations like the example below:

    Bob: What are you doing
Me: Explaining what threaded text is
    Bob: Why?
    Me: Because I like burritos
    Bob: That makes sense...thanks
    Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 700wx -> Mogul -> Touch Pro
You may like to flash, but your phone shouldn't. LED Killer

    That is wrong.

It is actually text that allows you to put a needle and thread through.

Some letters are able to have this, and some aren't. If you notice the letters....

A, B, D, O, P, Q, R all have "holes" in which you can thread your text through.

In future versions, and on the 750, you will be given a way to download this needle and thread, and thread your letters that let you.

    Threaded text... A great concept!

"g." Dont forget "g" in your sarcastic reply. And only lowercase. Its the only letter that gets a loop in lowercase that doesnt have it in uppercase. Yeah. Believe it.

I wonder if there is a way we could all get our phones together and demand a full refund from Palm for false advertising.

They will tell you the vzw wx DOES NOT have A2DP, but they claim it does have threaded messaging? Not good.

Treo 700wx with new Windows Mobile 6 has threaded txting, depending on yrou service provider. The service provider has the final say on the build and what goes into it. I have a 700wx that was one of the first off the line b/c I was a corp. sales rep and it does not have the feature because Telus pulled it from their model, however I have one on a different provider as well which does have the feature. If you have that big of a problem then you need to contact your cell company, not just palm.

What dug this thread up? Threaded txts is fixed. I beleive they took it from WM6. The thread is stickied in the 700w/wx forum. Works great and I love it.

I think some people just want to act like they actually know something. I really don't know why anone would dig this thread up and act like they are explaining it to someone.

Although I have not participated in this thread, I do believe an OEM release would be helpful, the after market program does not have a valuable feature that I use everyday, which the oem version does... I like to know if the person on the other end receives my text message. My girlfriend has verizon, as do I... so knowing if she received the text is important
