    I've got the 1.0 version ready to roll out, I just need some people to test it!

    If you want to help me test it, then PM me, and i'll send you the cab. After the final version is released, you'll get the registration code for free.

    I got my 700wx on Friday, and by Saturday, I had created my first .NET compact application!

    I'd been wanting a way to see a list of all my contact pictures, and then dial them. This functionality didn't come with the phone, and I didn't bother searching the web, so I created my own:

    as far as hosting you can use sites like:

    yousendit.com
    megaupload.com
    sendspace.com

    yousendit is the best imo.

    www.pocketpcfreeware.com will link to your software, but I dont think they will host it.

    Is it really that easy to program for WM? What tools did you use? I have been thinking about trying out CASL following TC's review and the promise of cross-platform apps.

    Some caveats:

    I program in C# .NET for work, and for leisure. Once you're fluent in regular .NET, the compact framework is not hard to pick up, as it's mostly a subset of the full thing.

    So it wasn't difficult at all for me to start writing WM5 apps, as I was already familiar with C#, Visual Studio, and had a whole bunch of already-developed code.

    Great!

    I can't recall how many times I don't know the names of the people I want to call on my phone!

    I could be wrong, but I believe mytreo.net hosts files.
    Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 700wx -> Mogul -> Touch Pro
    You may like to flash, but your phone shouldn't. LED Killer
