I'm wondering, for those that have the 700w or 700wx, how well do non 240x240 optimized applications work on the 700w? Does it prevent the program from running at all? Does it distort the look of the application? It seems to me that most WM software is written for QVGA and VGA devices and only a few programs are optimized for 240x240 devices.

from my limited experience it seems to do this:

adds a scroll bar to the right

That's it. You'll just have to scroll down to see everything (maybe an 'ok' or 'cancel' button). Most pay apps are "square-aware". Only some freebie ones I notice aren't.

Have yet to see an app not run or be unable to b/c of this limitation.

Like the previous poster said: A scroll bar is added. That's it.
