Has anyone seen the article on CNN about cell phones and true data erasing? (http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/ptech/0....ap/index.html)

In the article they mention that Palm does have some program built into the system to totally clear all data off as "zero out reset." They mention that it involves 3 buttons and the reset button on the back of the Treo. I searched Palm but didnt find anything, does anyone know how to do a "zero out reset" or is this just another name for hard reset??

Click below for instructions from the Palm Support Knowledge Library:

A zero-out reset formats the interal memory AND hard resets the device. According to the site, this feature isn't enabled on the 700 series phones.

It does not list the 700p, but if you go looking, the instructions are the same. Ben
