Try TCPMP for a free, low memory footprint, audio and video player.

PocketMusic has a bass boost and EQ settings.

With TCPMP you have to adjust every setting bar manually since there are no presetting to choose from. I just like having only 1 media player which is why I haven't installed pocketmusic. For TCPMP equalizer settings I just copied my PC's Winamp EQ settings and got the hang of which bar does what to the sound. Try the "laptop speakers/headphone" winamp preset and go from there. Music sounds great now on my treo.

I too vote for Pocket Player from Conduits.

I haven't tried Pocket Music on my Treo yet, but it was buggy and definately didn't coexist well with Pocket Player on my iPaq.

I agree, owning both products the conduits player (in the past) was more stable.
