    Hello to all!

I have been doing a lot of reading about GPS for th e700W but have seen little about the Palm GPS. What are your thoughts about this system?

There are numerous soultiuons for numerous Palm Treos....I can help more if ya narrow it down a bit. You are posting in the 700w section....I would therefore assume you are looking for something that works ona 700w....OTOH, it appears you are looking for a Palm OS based solution so I don't quite know where to start. palm sells soem of them, other 3rd party vendors offer others.

Thank you for your repsonse. I am looking at the Palm GPS Navigator Smartphone edition that is listed on the Palm site. It states that it is compatible to the 700W.

Well looking that up, I am confused.....it says Palm 650 (palm OS) and 700w (WM5).

Doesn't seem to me that it was a bright idea to lump those two together since they use different OS's. That sure looks like TomTom on the screenshot though and going to the TomTom site

I don't see the 700w on the compatability list as yet.

    "Palm -
    LifeDrive, Treo 650, Tungsten E2, Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5, TX, Zire72

However, Seidio has the 700p going and that's not on the TomTom site either.

All Seidio has is this tho someone posted that it's no longer being offered

I'd call Palm and make sure that it is not a mistake. I know that Seidio uses different cradles for the 650, 700p and 700w so it doesn't seem correct that this set would do double duty.

I agree it is confusing. I was hoping that someone from the forum had given this a shot. I will give Palm a call and see what they say.

I just verified with Palm that it will work with the 700W.
I may give it a shot.
