I know there's been some discussion about this, but nothing I've read indicates there's any fix for the windows/temp zero length files issues. I had about 1400 of these, just all the sudden. Deleting them's fine, but, and call me crazy, I'd like to not have to deal with them on a weekly basis on a $400+ device.

Personally, I think ActiveSync is a poor replacement for the Palm OS Hotsync program - that worked like clockwork and it's a bit of a gamble each time I try to use ActiveSync - another bag 'o crap microsoft product, if you ask me!

UPDATE - One (successful) sync, 48 new 0 kb files...

There has to be a better way.

The Treo 1.1 update fixes the temp files issue. No new files are created after the update.

A search on "windows/temp" in this forum pulled up the fix for the problem. It is the first link after your post.

TreoCentral is a good place to find the answer to most of your Treo problems.
