    A couple weeks ago I started getting this error message when I sync:
    "Sync cannot be completed successfully. Reconnect your device and try again..."

    Usually, when I check it, the data was not synced. Occasionally, though, the sync was actually successful.

    I tried Microsoft help. The only thing I found was to delete the mobile device recognition and connect as if I'm using a new device, then say to "Combine..." data. That was fine, but the sync still doesn't work.

    Any ideas?

    Note: I have yet to upgrade. Any reason to believe that upgrading the 700w software will help?

    My ability to be organized in work and life is totally dependent on being able to sync reliably! I appreciate any help,

    If you haven't updated, you probably have lots of zero length files in the windows temp folder. You can either update or clear out that folder.
