I've looked around the web and haven't seen a portable stand for the 700w. I have the desktop charging cradle, but it's not really something that slips easily into your pocket. I also have a ThinkOutside BT keyboard which has a built-in stand, but I'm looking for something even simpler. Lately, I've found myself using the SlingMobile software to watch some TV while at lunch. A portable stand would make for a nice accessory.

To give you an idea of what I mean, my Nokia 770 internet tablet comes with great portable stand that collapses. You can see a pic of it at the bottom of this page:

Unfortunately, I've tried using it with the 700w and it won't work (the Nokia stand is too wide). Anyone see something like this or similar for the Treo? Perhaps even something DIY?

Not portable but at that price you can buy one for each location

Edit: hmm, I don't see these at the OfficeMax web site. They may not sell it anymore.

You can get stands that are made for decorative plates that are just a bent piece of Lucite. The smaller ones of these may work well for your application. Pier One and similar places often sell these.

The decorative plateholder idea is a pretty good one especially since the ones I've seen fold down which would be great for pocketing. I'll have to poke around to see if there's one that is the right size. The Treo stand isn't bad for general use, but as hannip mentions, it's not really portable (at least not something you'd toss in your pocket).

If anyone else has any suggestions, please feel free to share.

If you don't mind putting a strip of velcro on the back of your treo you could use the multi pivot.
