Bumping this thread, but with some news. I noticed no one reported actually trying to play a protected iTunes songs on PocketMusic. Well, when you tap on a song that is m4p it pops up a box saying you need to use the JHymn convertor app and gives a link to it.

For those that don't know JHymn was an app out a year or so ago that stripped the DRM from m4p files and made them m4a files. I believe others have supplanted it as it hasn't been updated in a long time and wouldn't work with songs now anyway. That's if you don't mind the questionable legality of doing so in the first place!
