OK - I've been reading the posts for a few weeks getting ready to get my new Treo. Thanks to all for all of the posts, advice and handy tips (at least they sound handy).

My question is this - when I go to Verizon to buy my phone - is there anything I should check out of the box to be sure they aren't selling me a phone with some of the old problems that people seem to have?

I saw the post about the battery contact change and maybe the updater might be installed, but any other ideas/suggestions?
