here's a link to someone who installed the widcomm 1.5 bluetooth stack on his HTC wizard. From what I remember, this may well work on the Treo700 as well.

Here's the link: http://www.indoxda.net/index.php?nId=324 It also includes a download for the WidComm v1.5 bluetooth software!

Thanks to galleon1388 on htc-developers for finding this one!

I now have a Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard). I'm very happy with it.

Nevermind, for some reason my reg program wasn't registering the file correctly so I tried a different one and it works. (the registry program not the hack). Been running into issues getting the hack to work. However, I was able to get the program to run once and then the phone locked up on me. Did a hard reset and can't get it to work since.

I didn't have lock-up problems but could never get this to work.. The described reg directory doesn't match and I couldn't figure what needed to be done to modify it yet.

Currently I am watching a thread unfold on the Axim website where they are getting this to work and they are also putting it into an install package. So hopefully they can get it working.
