While I was in comp usa today (posted such in earlier thread) I picked up this wifi card and will be using it tonight. Just was curious if anyone heard and or tried it out.

I've got the AmbiCom card also & it's worked great. D/L the WM5 beta from the site, and you should be good to go. Get phone and WIFI at the same time!!

I installed the driver from the disc provided, is it the same driver from their site?

I guess that depends on when the unit you bought was packaged. The driver disc in mine was the PPC2003 version. I downloaded the WM5 beta from thier site...it's the one I am using flawlessly.

I have the ambicom wifi sd card, I'm very happy with it. I got the latest drivers from their site, not the cd that came with it.

I have been happy with the reception, but does anyone know why after a while i can't use the card anymore? after a few times of turning the phone on/off, the wi-fi card will stop trying to find networks, and the logo at the top will just stay "1x". any ideas? THanks!
