Ok, the day game. I decided to move on to another company and found out they are running Lotus Notes rather then MS Exchange. Other then using the sketchy redirect app, is there another way to get email/calendar synced to the WM5 OS from the Notes server? My only option is to get a Blackberry which they support.

Actually there is third party software. I work for a company that uses Lotus Notes (and I will never understand why because it sucks) and you can either go with Pylon Software or you can search for a program that is called mNotes 4.0. But make sure you get the 4.0 version because that is the one that supports the 700.

Does mNotes and Pylon get installed on a windows pc and forward to the device? So basically the PC has to be running to get email, calendar, etc.?

Yes, mNotes needs a redirector. It seemed very good but I didn't continue with it because it modifies notes calendar entries by adding a category to them. I always run into trouble when calendar entries are changed in any way.

I heard Pylon was good but never tried it.

    Does Pylon redirect as well?

Pylon is not the best for Pocket PC's. And it can be tricky with the Palm OS. Half of the people in my company that use it are getting duplicates in their contacts and in their calendars. And Pylon gets installed on the computer and is shown as a database on the local system in Notes.

ok, I see. So it does act as a redirector within Notes?

I believe so. Basicly once you start to sync with whatever sync program you use, Pylon then kicks in and has you log you into Notes and then will sync your calendar, contacts, task etc...

Bumped up to provide Notes Version 7 information.

SEVEN has a beta that works.
Wireless Sync works but you must go through the configuration of the PC Monitor or you will get an error.

(I still use SEVEN but keep the WS PC Monitor running as a backup.)

You have to sign up for the beta program at www.seven.com/beta
The beta version is in the download section after you've been granted to the site.
