Hey guys I thought we should share what sites are the best to find streaming media (Music, News, TV, etc.). Also what streaming media player do you use and why do you use it?

Me: http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ to find streaming radio stations. Download the PLS. File and use with WMP. Works great!!!

    Thanks.

If you click on the link to the stream it usually automatically downloads the pls file to your computer. I then save the pls file to my treo, then open it with WMP. There may be an easier way but thats all I know.

There are, but they're not free. If you're interested, check out MobiTV.

If you have a TV card in your desktop you can use ORD to stream all your TV channels to your Treo for free (and watch videos and view the photos on the desktop).

It would be free if I have one, and since I don't have a desktop, I'll have to buy a usb TV module.

I have added your site to my favorites. I love Digitally Imported. One question though, when i click on a bandwith on your site, the wm player pops up, buffers and then says its playing. However no sound seems to be coming from my phone. Does anyone know of a reason as to why this maybe happening?

Mwl40, I have not heard of that happening before.. when you click on one of the WMA icons (try Euro Dance 32k) it should launch WMPlayer and play the audio after a short buffer... if the audio streaming server is too busy then it should tell you.

Can you play a local MP3 file or WMA file and hear it?

You shouldn't need to download the file.
Just tap on the link in PIE.
