Does anyone else have timeout issues connecting to Verizon's Broadband Access with their Treo 700?

After I connect and a page returns, I click on another link (within 5 seconds) and yet my broadband access is lost because I get the Connecting Message again and again.

The following screen appears:
Connecting
-Connecting to: Broadband Access
-Using: Cellular Line
-Dialing: #777...

Is there any why to configure my connection settings to stay connected/timeout after a couple minutes of no use instead of 2 seconds.
