When I'm at home with my Treo using a Wi-Fi card, I notice the Treo itself has the IP address on my home network of 192.168.1.4. I've tried entering the treo from my desktop computer by typing \\192.168.1.4 on the desktop, but it doesn't work. However, if I PING 192.168.1.4, I get a response. I've also tried just typing \\Treo from my desktop computer (since that is the device name of my treo), but that doesn't work either.

Is there a way to get to the treo's memory through my desktop computer over wi-fi? Anyone?

    Thanks!

Highly unlikely unless an appropriate protocol was configured to allow access. All this is telling you is that the TCP/IP stack on the Treo is properly configured as a client system on your internal wireless network.
