No i just installed it. It works great with the 700w.
Actually it is installed as a server on your home computer...and you just use the 700w to access it thru PIE by going to http://share.avvenu.com/login

GREAT APP. plus it is totally FREE. wow. I don't know how they make money.
Similar to Orb.com...and you can share folders etc.

I have been using it since January 5, the day I got my 700w. My wife and I used it with our 650w so we knew it would work but it so much better with EDVO, downloading pictures are just reviewing my pictures is so great on the 700w, my wife has gotten a little jealous of how much more that you can do with the 700w she will come around shortly. Sometime I ask her download a file from my documents folder so she can feel the power.

This software should work with any pda, computer, operating system, that has a web browser. It indepentant of the device connecting to it.

It's nothing but a small web server running on your computer, giving you a directory listing of you folder "you choose".

There are plenty of other free solution out there. Matter of fact if you have windows xp professional you can use IIS.

It does provide the functionality of giving you a easy remember domain name, but you can get a free domain name from no-ip.com.

Aside from just simple directory indexing, you could use a free web server to create your own web site.

I have to recant, ORB does everything Avennu does plus you can stream video of almost any type to the phone. I think it is a little more responsive also.
