    I am using verizon's wireless sync to to access emails from a pop3 account and when i did the first sync, i chose merge according to the directions and now whenever i get an email, i get 2 duplicates of the same also. Is there a way to get rid of this.

    Go to Wireless Sync client. Menu. Sync Settings. Select Inbox line (not checkbox, leave it checked) and click on Settings button. Select "Overwrite with server data". OK and OK. Then force a sync. See if it fixes issue. You told the server to duplicate your email and it did exactly as instructed... That's what "Merge" does and it should be used only if you have data that is only on device and not on server.
