i think i will be sending the 700w back for the 6700 i have had many lockups after charging over night for some reason.and availble memory is a joke i had to turn of voice command to free up space.i looked at the 6700 and the 700w side bye side and the screen was so much better. and it seemed very fast with 40mbs availble after it had like 10 progs running looked good. was wondering what you would do? and if there is problems with the 6700?

If I find a problem with my 700 once I get it, I'll probably just send it in to get more ram added once I do some more research on that situation. I've played with the sprint 6700 (used to sell them, but haven't had a new shipment in some time) and, while the screen, wifi, and ram are definately nice, it's much too bulky for me.

Would definately be a nice phone for you though. Only problems I've heard have been remedied by 3rd party proggies.

I think those that like the treo form factor will stick with the 700w. Those that want more connection options and the bigger/better screen will prefer the 6700.

I just switched from a 6700 to a Treo 700w after I went from a Treo 600 to a 650 to a 6700 and now to the Treo 700w. I must say that I was really never confortable with the 6700. I found myself using the stylus a lot more because sliding out the keyboard was a pain to do simple things. So far, I like the 700w much better.

You shoud also include the 6600 in this since it's closer to the 700w than the 6700 is. The 6700 is the best with everything. The 6600 specs are close to the 700w minus the newer OS and camera...

It does take some getting used to but I like having all the different input options (transcriber, keyboard, block recognizer, letter recognizer).

Plus...I really needed the larger screen.
