I held off on a Treo 650, but i am ready to ditch having 2 phones for one soon hopefully.

I currently use my nextel for my business phone and the T-mobile sidekick II for internet and texting and AIM.

I can't wait to just have one phone.

How is verizon, i live in the Detroit area of Michigan. I currently pay around 100 a month for the nextel and 33 or so for the sidekick. Do you think i can get something with EVDO and a good min plan for under those 2?

I currently have 800 anytime and free incoming and free nights and weekends on my nextel and unlimited net on the sidekick.

Also what will i need say one for a 700w? Just a SD card?

Is there a AIM program for the 650 or soon to be 700?

    Thanks for the help.

    Welcome aboard to T/C!
Verizon coverage is everywhere. Please check verizon site for coverage and user posting here for some personal feedback.
SD card would be useful to have.
AIM program should be available for WM 5.0 hopefully by the time 700w is released or after.

Thanks for the reply, just set the money aside to pick up one the day it comes out.

I don't see any price or packages with evdo on the website though.

Can't wait to get it. Any accessories or good wireless headset or anything else wants to toss in as a must buy?

    Thanks

The trouble with this Treo 700w is so new, no one knows which accessories are good to get.

Verizon doesn't charge seperately for evdo. It is included in both their 24.99 and $45 plans.

There is no reliable aim client for the 650, and currently no dedicated aol program for the 700w. You could use imov, but that totally suck, and barly gets the job done for messeging. I would move to useing msn messenger

Verichat, toccer reliable lol. I said dedicated Aol, meaning AOL specific like the sidekick 2 he already has. Windows mobile has a great msn messenger program that work reliable,.
