    SO with the 700 using windows OS, does that mean all our Palm software from the 650 is useless?

    palm software doesn't operate on a windows OS but on the palm OS. So yes palm software will not be compatible with the 700 w but will with the 700p.

    unless you get one of those Palm OS emulators on MW.....but they don't work nearly as well as on a Palm OS device.

    I hope the 700p doesnt use the 240X240 screen.

    Why would they take a step back in screen resolution? I can understand on the W because of the way apps are written but I don't see why they would go from 320x320 to 240x240 on a POS treo.

    Very tempted to switch from Cingular 650 to V 700 -

    1. How does one get email on t700 thru AOL (like chatter for palm on 650)
    2. How's the screen - as bright as 650?

    From what I've heard WM5 doesn't support 320x320.

    I understand that. That's why I was referring to the 700p having less than 320x320 resolution. (I think that's what Jonger1150 said).
