Using a hands-free device with Bluetooth wireless technology
Your Treo smartphone is also compatible with many headsets and car kits enabled with Bluetooth
wireless technology version 1.1 or 1.2. Please note, however, that you cannot use a Bluetooth
headset to listen to MP3 files on your smartphone.

It'd be great to see an unbiased analysis of how the 700w is different from the "standard" Windows Mobile 2005 smartphone based on the manual.

It's impossible to assess degrees of usability from a manual, but still, in terms of features, how substantive are the changes?

What makes you think it's something that needs to be explictly prevented or disabled, as opposed to a feature that they never implemented or a hardware limitation?

    ARRRRGGGGG!!!!!!!

The standard which allows BT stereo transmission is "A2DP profile" and if they don't support it on release I hope they plan on it later.

My understanding is that this is not enabled on any WM5 device right now. MS plans on releasing an update to make it standard on all WM5 devices early in 2006. Whether the 700w won't permanently support this feature is still up in the air, I guess.
