    Hello,

I have just returned from my wife back get my Palm Pre and found that
can no longer install apps through the App Catalog. I know this is a certificate problem but the "APP Catalog Uptdate" can not install also.
The thing with the date I have also tried without success already X times.
Date prior to 7/1/13 -> Download failed
Date after 7/1/13 -> Download OK, installation failed

Is there an App Catalog Update.ipk on the Internet?
The installation via WebOS Quick Install I get back.
Give it another way, what else can I try?

    Thank you very much

    Hallo,

mann muß auf dem Palm folgende Dateien ersetzen
    WebOS 1.4.5
    /etc/ssl/certs/appsigning-bundle.crt
    /etc/ssl/certs/pubsubsigning-bundle.crt

    WebOS 2.X

    /etc/ssl/certs/appsigning-bundle.crt
    /var/ssl/appsigning/appsigning-bundle.crt
    /etc/ssl/certs/pubsubsigning-bundle.crt
    /etc/ssl/certs/trustedcerts/PalmWebOS.pem

    Klaus

    Hello,

man must replace the following files on the Palm
    WebOS 1.4.5
    / etc / ssl / certs / appsigning-bundle.crt
    / etc / ssl / certs / pubsubsigning-bundle.crt

    WebOS 2.X

    / etc / ssl / certs / appsigning-bundle.crt
    / var / ssl / appsigning / appsigning-bundle.crt
    / etc / ssl / certs / pubsubsigning-bundle.crt
    / etc / ssl / certs / trustedcerts / PalmWebOS.pem

The files are in the directory "com.palm.app.appcatalogupdate_2.0.0.ipk_tmpdir"
worked in the download directory of the Palms when in actual date of the download. The directory can then be copied in the USB mode to PC.

With "WebOS Quick Install" you can, Tools -> Send file, copy the files to the correct locations. The palm must (Enter on the keyboard 20,090,606) in the Developer mode be.

The App Catalog is working again, the system does not update.

(Enter on the keyboard 20090606) is right, i know it

Don't leave off the first part: webos20090606

It won't work if you just enter the date.

By the way, how I came to having to doctor my phone is I was in a hurry and since I already had my computer hooked up decided to delete and advanced patch with wosqi. That didn't turn out too good, ended up with my phone not booting up completely. So does everyone agree that preware is safer for un-installing patches? Or un-install it whatever method was used to install it?

It shouldn't matter. I would think if there was a problem it could have tripped up either method.

Hi, I have the same problem, after I need to doctor my HP Pre 3 caused byx TMC. When I try to re-install the apps, everytime the download works, but "installation failed". Any idea, what causes it? I have 2.2.4 installed plus Preware.

The catalog update behave the same way...

    Best regards,
