There's Universe Browser, I haven't used it, so I cannot vouch for it, but here's the main thread for it.

You can file IE, firefox, safari etc, under insane, for the time being.

Universe is the only functional third-party web browser I'm aware of for webOS smartphones. As far as things in the browser, it supports everything that the default browser supports. There's no way around it.

Yes, I have used universe browser. I prefer it to the stock browser, but it has its flaws. What I like is the history button and the ability to rearrange the buttons.

Also I like when I have web pages in a stack the title of the page is always there and don't disappear once one scrolls down like the stock browser. That way I can easily identity the pages in the stack, kinda like tabs.

There are some things that I don't like like the bookmarks not being expanded, always have to click twice. And some other quirks.

Also you didn't mention opera desktop int the list of desktop browsers, I have tried all of them and I think its the best, but least popular, kinda like webos.

I like Opera too, and it's probably my most used on my PC. I do get these odd pop-ups every once in awhile saying it's using a (what it thinks) good chunk of memory, but I have 6GB to play around with, so I just ignore it.

I get that high memory usage message sometimes too, especially with flash and ignore it also.

Another advantage of universe browser is one can turn off auto rotate inside the app. Great for browsing in bed if you know what I mean.

It used to able to have universe as default browser for just type and something happened and can't do it anymore. So end up using two browsers anyway. Sucks.

Edit: Just remember, typing in universe for example posting in a forum sometimes produces weird results. And double tap to zoom doesn't work in 2.2.4. I hope the developer resumes work on this and release an update
